Tyler graduated from Sinclair Community College’s Interpreter Education Program where he received his Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S) in May of 2017. During his practicum experiences at Sinclair, he interpreted in various settings, including K-12, mental health, medical, post-secondary education, and platform interpreting. Tyler also has two additional degrees in mental health (Bachelor of Arts and Master of Clinical Psychology) and several years of experience within the mental health field before becoming an interpreter. As such, he holds a strong interest in mental health, medical and wellness-related interpreting, and the topic of psychological assessment in the Deaf community. He has a variety of continuing education experiences with continually growing interests within the field of interpreting.
